About the Cemeteries

Rules & Regulations

You are not allowed to break ground in the Cemetery. You must call the sexton.
You are not allowed to set your own monuments. You must call the sexton.
No Planting trees, bushes, etc.
No fences allowed
Cars must stay on driveway

Fees

Service	Cost & Location
Opening/closing of grave	$550.00 (Casket Burials)
Burial of baby and/or cremations	$300.00
Fees for burial payable to:	Joe Looks
Setting of Headstones/Markers:	$0.45 per square inch, minimum $125.00
Fees for Setting Bases/footings payable to:	Jim Looks

The cemetery sexton is the only one authorized to prepare bases for Headstones/Markers; contact Rose Spoelman, Township Clerk, at (231) 853-2015 or (231) 853-6735 PRIOR to any burials and/or setting of headstones or markers. If you violate these rules, you will be responsible for extraction and replacement. The above prices are subject to change without notice, so please contact the township clerk for periodic updates.
